Hi 👋 My name is Marissa and I am designer, food activist, and artist. Originally from Washington, D.C, with family roots in Peru, I now call Austin, TX home.
I work as a Digital Designer at H-E-B and double as Graduate Student by night, pursing my MA in Gastronomy (Food Studies) at Boston University.
I enjoy running, throwing clay and reading a good book at Barton Springs. Laughing with close friends, spending time with family, dancing to Spanish music or cooking in the kitchen is sure to brighten my day. I care about people, animals and the environment, especially working towards creating more equitable food systems.
